We begin the descent, retracing the corridor back through the gorge toward Pokhara and on to Kathmandu. The return is part of the yatra too, a gradual coming-down from the heights, both of the land and of the spirit.
There is a final gathering to close the journey together, to speak of what was seen and felt, and to carry the kshetra home rather than leave it behind. Many pilgrims return with a Shaligram of their own, and with an understanding of where it comes from.
The yatra ends, but its work continues quietly in the months that follow. You leave changed, and the ground stays with you.
